↑Kezman, brace in PSV goal romp.
Ajax 1:0 RBC
Ajax continued their winning start to the new season
with a narrow 1-0 victory against RBC Roosendaal
at the Vast & Goed stadium.
Tom Soetaers scored the only goal of the game 10 minutes
before half-time to settle the contest,
and give Ronald Koeman's side their second win
from two matches.
RBC, who are expected to struggle this season,
remain without a point so far after losing 3-1
at Twente last week.

PSV 6:1 Willem II
PSV Eindhoven bounced back from last week's opening day
draw against Roda with a 6-1 mauling of Willem II
at the Philips stadion.
The champions were surprisingly held 2-2
in the first game of their title defence to fall two points
behind rivals Ajax and Feyenoord who both began
with victories.
Andre Ooijer fired the hosts ahead after 10 minutes
but Tarik Sektioui levelled eight minutes later.
It was to prove nothing more than a distraction
for PSV however, as Dennis Rommedahl and Mark van Bommel
made it 3-1 at half-time and Mateja Kezman (2)
and Ji Sung Park rounded off the rout.

Heerenveen 1:0 Feyenoord
Heerenveen edged a close encounter with Feyenoord
at the Abe Lenstra stadium with former Ajax striker-
Gerald Sibon
scoring the only goal of the game.
The 29-year-old, who joined from English club
Sheffield Wednesday
during last season, hit what proved to be the winner
midway through the first half.
Heerenveen have won both their opening games
in the Eredivisie following victory at Volendam
by the same score last week.
The result hands Feyenoord, 2-1 first-day winners over NEC,
an early blow in their bid to challenge for the title.

NAC 2:0 Vitesse Arnhem
NAC Breda picked up their first points
of the new Eredivisie season on Saturday
with a 2-0 victory over Vitesse Arnhem.
Breda took the lead through Robbie Stam after 67 minutes
and then wrapped the points up with a second eight minutes
later from Tamas Peto.
The result leaves Vitesse still looking to get off the mark
following their opening-day defeat to Ajax

FC Utrecht 1:1 ADO Den Haag
FC Utrecht were denied their second successive win
of the new Eredivisie season by a late equaliser
from newly-promoted ADO Den Haag.
Den Haag slipped to a 1-0 defeat at RKC Waalwijk
on the opening day and looked to be heading
for an identical result before Marcel Pronk popped up
four minutes from time to net the leveller.
Utrecht had earlier taken the lead
through Donny de Groot's 20th-minute strike
as they sought to build on last week's 1-0 win
over Zwolle.
