[情報] Kidd 不高興
過去兩場比賽完,他都拒絕接受訪問,
如今他終於重新發言了,以下是他的內容。

Here he goes again. . . .
Kidd's Ipod was set to something called Whitesnake when he walked in today,
quickly explaining that it reflected his mood.
This is normally where we would we'd go off on some fruitless debate about
how how heavy metal is about as appealing as a tractor backfiring, and that
most of it sounds like a bunch of skinny suicidal white nerds on Thorazine,
or that it can be played by any goofball with a Les Paul, a stack of
marshalls, and a fuzz box. But we'll resist, for now.
What's important is that it is his statement, as soon as he was asked, "You
feel your team is on the same damn treadmill as last year?"
"That's what I'm listening to now - 'Here I go again,'" Kidd said. "The same
thing happens year after year."
Be forewarned: This interview is not going to end happily. You already know
he hasn't spoken after the last two games, and there's a reason for that:
He's frustrated -- perhaps more than at any time since '04.
And he's not the least bit mollified by the fact that his team is beat up
right now, or that they won't shoot 38 percent forever.
He just sounds like a guy who has no hope, which is a hell of a way for a
captain to feel.
Two examples of Kidd's morose demeanor, before we get out of here.
"We're so quick to bail, in the sense of mentally letting go of the rope," he
said. "Actually we wouldn't let go of the rope (last year), but this year
we're letting go of the rope. When we go down eight or nine, we can't make a
shot, or something happens and all of a sudden it goes to 20. It's just
disappointing."
And if you think he'll perk up when Carter gets back, we wouldn't exactly
call this a vote of confidence:
"We had him, but still we're losing," Kidd said. "I mean, the proof is in the
pudding. It's there. You want to ignore it, you can ignore it. You can sweep
it under the rug and hope for the best.
"So far the hope has been the best (thing about the team). We get to the
playoffs and everything disappears. But now it's starting to show."
Obviously, we'll get into more details at length on the print side tomorrow.
If you're keeping track, the guy has averaged 15.6 points, 10.8 assists and
10.2 rebounds over his last five. He has also shot .367 in those five
(25-for-68) and committed 17 turnovers in his last three, but why quibble. He
thinks he's done enough. He probably thinks nobody else is pulling his
weight, though he always stops short of saying that kind of thing.
L-Frank, who has never criticized the guy before and won't start now,
nonetheless sounds as though he's sick of hearing it.
Today's credo: "If you're just with the team when it's going well, then
you're not really a true teammate and you're not really a credible coach,"
Frank said. "It's the consistency of doing your job every single day --
through the good and through the bad, and everyone has that responsibility."
As for his captain's head, he looks at it this way: "Jason has always led
us," Frank said. "I'm not concerned about Jason."

Same lineup tonight, with Magloire and the kid, whom The Perfessor has termed
"Le Freak Elastique."
Vince won't go, though they won't say anything officially until game time. He
was riding the bike when the team took the floor for shootaround.
