The Rockets and Nets have been discussing a trade involving Vince Carter in
recent days, according to numerous league sources.
Houston wants to send Tracy McGrady to New Jersey in a deal for Carter and
Trenton Hassell, but the Nets don't want McGrady's contract.
McGrady is slated to make $22 million during the 2009-10 season, the final
year of his deal.
The Nets are also concerned about McGrady's health.
New Jersey has reportedly countered with an offer of Carter and Josh Boone
for a combination of Ron Artest, Shane Battier, Luther Head and Carl Landry.
The two teams will face each other on Tuesday night.
