Michael Owen接受了訪問，談到了關於他的膝傷以及英格蘭國家隊。也談了關於肝池戰敗雅典......等。但沒有談到任何關於他目前在Newcastle的去留問題，據說訪問之前就聲明這是不能問的問題。不過他有稍微提到踢很失望受傷將近一個賽季無法替球隊踢很多比賽 the fa網站有他的訪問影片。 http://www.thefa.com/default.htm "It only enters your mind if you have had an injury and you still feel something, or you are getting swelling in a certain area or if you pull a muscle, you are still feeling it tightening. England have scored just 14 goals in nine games during Owen's 10-month spell on the sidelines, but Owen said he was confident he could handle the pressure his return would inevitably bring. "That is the life I live. I feed off expectations of myself, of wanting to make myself happy and my friends and family proud, and the country happy," he said. "Winning games make this country a better place. This game is no different to many of the games I have been involved in. "I like feeling pressure, I like there being something on the game and going into the game under pressure.
