Preview: Rangers v FC Copenhagen
Rangers winger Nuno Capucho has told manager Alex McLeish he will be ready
for the crucial Champions League qualifier against FC Copenhagen.
The summer signing from Porto has recovered from a hamstring problem after
proving his fitness in an Under-21 game at Kilmarnock.
Fellow newcomer Henning Berg admits his chances of playing are slim although
he is confident his match fitness will be sharper for the second leg in
Denmark in a fortnight.
FC Copenhagen captain Peter Nielsen has been cleared to play despite being
substituted during a 1-1 draw at Esbjerg on Saturday because of a thigh
strain.
Midfielder Erik Mykland, the Norway international, and right-back Ole Tobiasen
missed the Esbjerg game but are both expected to start at Ibrox.
However, Swedish international Jorgen Pettersson and Christian Lonstrup are
both out injured.
