It seems to me that the SF position is well-covered, despite the loss of Peja, with Danny Granger and Shawne Williams at that position. Granger needs the playing time to grow into the star everyone projects him to become and, with Peja gone, this is his chance. Besides, in my opinion, Harrington is over-rated. Answer: I’m in favor of the Pacers trying to get Harrington in a sign-and-trade deal. I like it because of what the Pacers are trying to do in becoming more athletic and having players play multiple positions. They could have a starting frontcourt of Jermaine O’Neal at center, Danny Granger at small forward and Harrington at power forward. Harrington gives the Pacers another player they can turn to offensively. They need to find an outside shooter to help keep the pressure off O’Neal in the post.
