Maybe there is more involved in this sign and trade than just Daniels. TJ Ford would be a nice back up PG. He is one of the few PG's who has given Rondo problems in the past because of his quickness. But, I just don't see how this could possibly happen. Ford is signed for 2 more years at 8.5 million. With that kind of money involved, the only way I can see it working is to include Big Baby in a sign and trade. But then, the Pacers are rumored to be signing Earl Watson, who was released by the Thunder, so Ford may be available. I'll believe this one when I see it. 其實這篇消息只有下列幾個重點： 1. 由於Ford的合約不小，這有可能只是芭樂的乳摸。 2. 在Boston那邊人的眼中，Rondo顯然是非賣品。 3. 在Boston看來，溜馬簽下Watson是來取代Ford先發的。然而從第三點來看，我想原文筆者顯然不是很熟悉大鳥的作風儘管Ford上個球季很黏球，但關鍵時刻絕殺76人、騎士隊的表現無庸置疑和勇士的八人大交易中溜馬都給了Murphy和Dunleavy兩個球季的試用期沒道理拿過去鎮隊之寶小歐換來的Ford用一季就丟了～特別是球團很有可能因為不想付豪華稅而放棄對Jack合約的跟進所以不大可能就放手讓剛從自由市場撈來的屈臣氏就入座先發控衛除非我們能藉由交易換到比Ford更年輕或更適合球隊未來的PG Rondo也許是個人選，但一來他的外線比起福特車更不靈光，二來目前 Celtics並沒有將他交易的打算跟必要性，因此 Ford to Boston 這項傳聞目前看來應該只是個芭樂～此外，這裡面還有談到溜馬在S&T Daniels的交換籌碼： And, Chad Ford had this to tweet: Celts are hooking up with Marquis Daniels for their swingman.
