Steve Nash's biggest fans remain in the Valley even with his team success
and personal stardom in Dallas.
His parents live in the Gainey Ranch home he bought when he played for
the Suns in his first two pro seasons (1996-97 and 1997-98).
Nash will be a free agent this summer, but taking over his old house
and playing for the Suns would not be his first choice.
"I loved playing there and I think it's a great team," Nash said Monday.
"I'll definitely keep my options open, but my No. 1 goal is to stay with
this team. I've put in a lot of time with these guys, and I want to take
it further."

Nash, third in the NBA at 8.3 assists per game, will be one of the
summer's top unrestricted free agents.
Suns point guards Leandro Barbosa and Howard Eisley both have two more
contract years, although Eisley could be of interest to Charlotte in the
expansion draft. The Suns are expected to sign top European point guard
Milos Vujanic.

Nash, aware of Suns Chairman Jerry Colangelo's pursuit of a new owner,
said that would be a factor in his decision. His ties with his last Suns
team would all be gone if not for Antonio McDyess' return.
Nash was traded in 1998 to Dallas for Pat Garrity, Bubba Wells,
Martin Muursepp and a first-round pick that Phoenix used to select
Shawn Marion.

Harvey visible
Suns forward Donnell Harvey may be just 23, but he is a veteran when it
comes to practice battles with Amare Stoudemire, 21, and Maciej Lampe, 19.
Harvey's hard work has not been seen much outside the practice court
lately. He went from a starter in early January to a guy who has played
in five games since the start of February.
He nearly had become a 12th man until coach Mike D'Antoni turned to him
Monday for a second-half boost. Harvey had eight points and seven rebounds
in 20 minutes.

"The most important thing to survive in this league is to stay mentally
tough," said Harvey, in his fourth NBA season. "I work hard to show I can
help the team and keep improving. It's been tough. The only thing I can do
is work hard every day."
Harvey said he has benefited from a long-term relationship with Suns
assistant Tim Grgurich, whom he met as a 16-year-old invitee to
Grgurich's summer camp.

希望Harvey明年還能繼續留在太陽,也希望飄髮哥能繼續留在小牛....XD
