For the first time in 24 years, the Suns won overtime games on consecutive
days when Frye followed up Sunday's buzzer-beating game-winner at Indiana
with a go-ahead 3-pointer Monday in the Suns' 104-103 victory over New Jersey.

The Suns look like they are rumbling with their first four-game winning
streak of the season but nearly left their first visit to Prudential Center
bumbling after losing a seven-point lead in the final minute of regulation to
play overtime on back-to-back days. After the Suns' reserves were brilliant
with 64 points, the Suns starters nearly gave it away in regulation after
Nash's and Hill's faux pas gave New Jersey a possession to win at the end of
regulation but the Nets, 17-43 and losers of six in a row, did not get off a
shot to send the game to overtime.

The Suns missed three go-ahead shots - a Hill jumper, a Frye tip try and a
Nash drive - before getting another break with Brook Lopez missing the second
of two free throws to leave the New Jersey lead at 103-101 with 9.3 seconds
to go. The Suns ran a different play from Sunday for Frye, one that has all
four other players circling in the lane to draw in the defense in a two-point
game. The Nets failed to switch out onto Frye, who nailed a wide-open 3-point
shot with 6.6 seconds remaining in overtime.

The Suns still had to sweat out a final Nets possession. Deron Williams drove
by Hill and Marcin Gortat to try a floating bank shot over Frye that missed.

The Suns led 92-87 before Anthony Morrow scored nine points in the final 22
seconds of regulation. The all-time 3-point shooting percentage leader made
two 3s before Nash fouled him for three free throws that he made. The Suns,
leading 96-93 after a Frye slam, were trying to take a foul on Williams
coming upcourt before Morrow wound up with it on the wing.

last season. Hill said the time went fast before his late inbound to Hakim
Warrick.

game, 28 points and 10 rebounds, but played 46 minutes. Robin played half as
much (23 minutes) and produced about half of that (14 points and four
rebounds). Robin peaked in his first six minutes, scoring three times at the
rim on a follow and two Steve Nash feeds and changing three Nets drives into
misses with his help defense. But he and Channing Frye got beat for a
critical Kris Humphries overtime tip-in when Marcin Gortat was waiting to sub
in for him.
