Trades!!
The pirates have done two deals in the past couple hours
1. Eric Hinske --> Yankees
Pirates acquire
Casey Erickson, 23歲,今年在Single A 三勝三敗, 出賽21場其中先發三場
ERA 2.25 44局中送出了37個三振和13保送
扣掉先發的比賽, 他的ERA 是1.10
Eric Fryer, 一樣是23歲, 今年在高階一A
59場比賽中, 主要是以左外野為主.
AVG. .250, 2HR, 24RBI, 34R.
去年在low A表現不錯,不過今年很明顯遇到了一點瓶頸
2. Nyjer Morgan + Sean Burnett --> Nationals
for Lasting Milledge + Joel Hanrahan
明顯的pirates sell high on Morgan and Burnett and buy low on Milledge and
Hanrahan.
Aloneside the possible "attitude" issues, this is an easy win for the Bucs.
Milledge最大的問題是attitude, 但是他的career line is better then Morgan's
Breakout year (this year), 而且Milledge 比Morgan小了快五歲
他的upside還在, I think he is a good investment and rist that Bucs should
take.
套一句 BUCCOFans.com說, you need better player to win, not nicer player.
Burnett在去年後段站穩腳步後,今年是最後倚賴的LHP from the pen. 不過
Hanrahan 整體的stuff比burnett好, 雖然今年看來被打爆
不過他的K/9 維持他生涯的高水準, K/BB甚至還進步
他的7+ era 最大原因是他那誇張的BABIP, 接近0.5
換句話說,他回穩是遲早的事. BTW, 他的fastball is around 94-96
