Jeff Wilson 的某篇新聞下面附帶的 Q&A 提到... 提問者說 Halladay 應該很適合 Rangers, Rangers 是否有可能送出 Jays 可能會要的人選但是不包涵關鍵的 prospects (Holland 等人)的方案來換得 Halladay 而 Wilson 的回答也是很清楚了.. 因為藍鳥會要求類似 Santana 那筆交易的結果而那次交易中，Mets 送出第 2, 3, 4 and 7 號的 prospects 而這排行對 Rangers 來說就是 Feliz or Holland, Smoak, Martin Perez and Max Ramirez 這些人選都已經被 Daniels 明確的說不能被動到了所以想和 Jays 換 Halladay 的這筆交易應該是很難成立的 ----- Q: I am well aware that the Rangers don't want to spend any money and don't really want to give up a bunch of prospects. But with reports that Toronto will consider offers for Roy Halladay, shouldn't the Rangers make a huge push to get him? Find a group of prospects excluding Derek Holland, Neftali Feliz and Justin Smoak that the Blue Jays will take, then throw in Vicente Padilla and his expiring contract to even out the costs for the rest of this season. Is this at all possible? Whit, Fort Worth WILSON: Halladay would be a terrific piece to add for any team. Toronto, though, will likely want a package similar to the one the Mets gave the Twins for Johan Santana rather than the package the Diamondbacks gave the A's for Dan Haren. Minnesota got the Mets' Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 7 prospects. From a Rangers perspective, that would be Feliz or Holland, Smoak, Martin Perez and, say, Max Ramirez. Arizona was able to avoid giving Oakland players like B.J. Upton and Max Scherzer. The Rangers would also have to find a way to pay the $15.75 million Halladay is owed in 2010, while understanding that he could leave as a free agent after next season. One other thing?
