According to a source, the Rays are seeking a second opinion on one of the pitchers involved. If the problem is not serious, the trade may be completed as is. If not, the player in question may be replaced to seal the deal. As for the timetable on a decision, Padres' GM Jed Hoyer said "hopefully soon."
