jon, how serious is landry's injury? he has really emerged as one of our top 3-4 players right now and i do not want to hear of a serious injury. the rox medical staff has been so incompetent in diagnosing these injuries to tmac/yao and now landry that it's pissing me off. so tell me jon, how serious do you think it really is? (They don't think it is anything major. He will probably also miss Monday's game. I wouldn't be surprised if they are extra cautious and keep him from the Atlanta trip. It's really too soon to say. They are examining him further, so it is difficult to say what they found before they find it. Also, your assumption about the medical staff is unfounded, particularly in Yao's case. They found a stress fracture before it became serious enough for him to miss a game or practice. That is unheard of with that sort of injury, though much of the credit also should go to Yao for being so diligent about reporting his condition. McGrady's was more of a freak thing that even the initial MRI did not uncover. He did no further damage on it during the uncertainty. He was just out longer than initially expected. As for Landry, they have not even diagnosed it, yet.
