McConnell, big man Richaun Holmes and decline the option on veteran guard Gerald Henderson, their roster would be at 12. A player such as former Sixer Ersan Ilyasova is a veteran power forward who works well with Embiid and is an effective perimeter shooter. Embiid has said he likes being paired with Ilyasova. Despite playing for three teams — the Thunder, Sixers and Hawks — last season, Ilyasova shot 35.3 percent from 3-point range and averaged 13.1 points. As of now, unrestricted free agent Ilyasova is looking for more money and years on a contract than the Sixers want to pay, which Philly knew and is the reason why it traded him to the Hawks on Feb. 22. The 30-year-old Ilyasova earned $8.4 million in 2016-17. But what if Ilyasova, who has been traded five times in 24½ months, doesn't receive the kind of free-agent offer(s) he's seeking? Would the Sixers be willing to shell out $30 million for two years, which would permit them to maintain long-term cap flexibility? We’ ve got to probably address that 4 position." Ilyasova is terrific at drawing offensive fouls and a good teammate. Entering the league, Saric benefited from his presence and undoubtedly would again. The Raptors' Serge Ibaka is younger (27) than Ilyasova, more athletic and a better 3-point shooter (39.1 percent last season), but would probably cost considerably more and for a longer period of time after pocketing $12.25 million in 2016-17. I don't think the Sixers would be willing to spend $100 million over four years for him. Redick would be an upgrade because the 33-year-old Redick would help from the 3-point line, but would push the Sixers' unbalanced roster even farther to the backcourt after being too frontcourt heavy last year. Plus, the Sixers would be down to one roster spot to use on a big man who could play the 4 and 5 to round out the roster. Ilyasova, who can play center in a small lineup, would give the Sixers the ability to also sign a big guy while addressing the shooting and experience areas. Though the league is adding two NBA/G League two-way contracts per team, the 16th and 17th men cannot spend more than 45 days on an NBA roster over the course of a season, so that's not a long-term solution. An Ilyasova deal probably couldn't be struck at the July 1 start of free agency. That could change after a few days or perhaps a week. 簽下其他人，像是J.J.
