Coach Mitch Johnson and his assistants are thrilled to be overseeing three
practices and a shootaround this week in preparation for the Spurs'
first-round playoff series with Portland.

A little less than 12 hours after learning the identity of his team’s first
playoff opponent since 2019, Spurs coach Mitch Johnson stared down a bank of
television cameras Wednesday and issued the Portland Trail Blazers a promise.
