DT Mailbag: How bad does OKC miss Thabo? http://0rz.tw/wr1Tq 1.How bad do the Thunder miss Thabo and when is he coming back? Thabo的狀況是每天更新的，也就是說隨時會歸隊。還好Thabo腳受傷並沒有對雷霆造成很嚴重的傷害，所以Thabo並不需要太急著回來。Thabo到明星賽結束才回來我也不會很意外，畢竟要讓Thabo恢復到最佳的狀態。 Thabo對雷霆有多重要呢？像是昨天對上火箭的比賽，Kevin Martin慘電Cook和Harden，最後Brooks派Ivey上場來激發防守的火花，不過這通常是Thabo的工作。雷霆之前對上火箭的那兩場，Thabo總共只讓Kevin Martin得29分；而Martin昨天一天就拿下了32分。雷霆在Thabo不在的時候也可以贏球。Thabo通常上場20~25分鐘，得分很少，而且只有在大空檔才會出手。但他是一個能夠掌握細節的球員，通常能夠讓你贏下很接近的比賽。他在中距離的防守很好，雷霆也可以依賴他去守對方的得分球員。雷霆在他回來之後會更好。不過我們來看下一個問題： 2.Should Cook continue to start even when Thabo is healthy? 這就有趣了。當初讓Harden先發的聲浪這麼大的原因是雷霆在比賽開始的六到七分鐘之內，幾乎只有KD 和RUSS在得分。而大家希望Harden可以在進攻上減輕他們的壓力。至於Cook呢，雖然得分手段不如Harden豐富，但是他跟Harden的類型很像：比Thabo的進攻能力強，防守又不會太差。他是雷霆的另一個進攻選擇，同時也可以擋下對手的其中一人，例如Mike Bibby 或是 Jason Kidd。幾乎確定Thabo會在回來之後繼續擔任他的角色，總之Brooks一定會思考這些問題。之前 Brooks證明了Harden的位置是正確的，我想我會支持Brooks的意見。 3.G’day, a Thunderer from down under here, wondering what you think of Reggie Jackson’s defense. We’ve seen that his offense is mostly dribble to half court and pass to Harden, but how is he doing at the other end of the court? 老實說我還真沒注意到他的防守勒。應該說是普普。通常你會注意到一個人的防守時： 1.很厲害 2.爛透了我覺得Reggie有防守的潛力。他不像RUSS愛賭，他會堅持要站在他的對手的前面守他。我認為他要試著把自己的運動天分展現出來，他至今仍然沒有任何一個play能讓我驚艷的說 “Wow, Reggie Jackson!”。他的跳躍能力、速度、臂展都很好，他需要把這些都展現出來。 4.Have you noticed how often (of late) that commentators dote on point guards for their leaping ability? When Westbrook skies for a dunk or Rose catches a lob one of these guys undoubtedly spouts off all astounded like, “And that’ s your point guard making that play!” Hasn’t the new standard for the prototypical NBA PG become the freakish athlete? Is it so spectacular anymore when PGs from Jrue Holiday to Kyrie Irving can get up there and throw it down or steal an offensive carom? 這算是新品種吧。Jason Kidd 和 Kevin Johnson 和 Steve Kerr(誤)也是，他們的不同之處就只是現在的PG的身材跟以前的SG差不多。很難不被RUSS從彈簧床跳起來或是ROSE在空中飛，轉身上籃的精采畫面打動。他們這種類型的PG應該是新的PG模範。經典的PG，Steve Nash, Rajon Rondo ,Jose Calderon也都在做一樣的工作。Ricky Rubio和Jeremy Lin也都是驚人的運動員。籃球的美妙之處就是不同身材、不同能力的人打一樣的位置。 5.Who, in your opinion, is the best overall player on the Thunder? Overall?
