Report: Thunder inquire about Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler
In its "Open Floor" blog on SI.com, Sports Illustrated reports that the
Oklahoma City Thunder have inquired about the availability of Denver Nuggets
forward Wilson Chandler.
Chandler, 27, is averaging 14.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per
game. The seven-year NBA veteran is making $6.75 million this season, the
fourth year of a five-year deal with the Nuggets.
Chandler (6-foot-8, 225 pounds) would be a veteran presence for the Thunder,
who have won six of seven games and are currently 2.5 games out of the last
playoff spot in the Western Conference. The big question is what would the
Thunder have to give up to get a guy like Chandler?
