Strengths 1.Versatility on both ends of the floor 2.Can guard 3 positions 3.Has excellent length, allowing him to guard in the post and defend at the rim, despite not having ideal PF size - an good shot blocker, especially for a 6-7 player 4.Well built with good strength 5.Shows great anticipation on defense, reading passing lanes, gaining position 6.Has developed his three point shot and projects as a guy who can hit the corner three at the next level. 7.Operates within the flow of the offense, doesn't force the issue, does a good job of setting screens and creating space for his teammates Weaknesses 1.Lacks ideal height to play in the post at the next level. 2.Is a good but not great shooter (from FT and from 3). NO.48 Minnesota Timberwolves Chimezie Metu | PF/C | Age: 21.1 | USC Birthday: 3/22/97 NBA Position: PF/C Class: Junior Ht: 6-10 Wt: 220 Comparisons:Reminds of Jason Thompson and Ekpe Udoh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZayIvdr4LI

Strengths 1.Length and athleticism are the name of the game for Metu. He can really get off the floor and is a ferocious dunker, especially dangerous on put-back slams. 2.One of the things that excites about Metu is his rate of improvement. He's gone from an athlete to a basketball player, showing a much improved understanding of the game, better decision making and much better shooting touch. His free throw percentage has risen dramatically and is outside shot has shown marked improvement. If he can continue this trajectory he'll earn a spot in the first round. Weaknesses 1.Metu is far from a finished product and is not yet a complete basketball player. His low post game lacks polish and his three point shooting is a work in progress. 2.Physically, he'll need to add a lot of strength to be a post player at the next level. He doesn't project as a stretch-four, at least not early in his career, and his game is probably a better fit for the NBA of yesteryear, when power forwards where expected to play in the paint. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 119.14.174.15 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Timberwolves/M.1527771786.A.AB2.html
