Among those that advanced was 18-year-old phenom Donald Young. Young, who turned 18 less than a month ago, collected his first career ATP main draw win on Sunday afternoon, ousting fellow American Amer Delic, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. The countrymen were solid on serve throughout the one-hour, 35-minute encounter, with just three breaks - one per set - separating them. Young's third set break set him up for his career milestone. The Pilot Pen Tennis in New Haven is Young's 12th career ATP main draw. He fell first round in his first 11 - seven in 2005, three last year and one before New Haven this year at Indianapolis recently, where he fell to Korea's Hyung-Taik Lee. Young's win sets up a second round meeting with No. 1 seed Nikolay Davydenko. The match with the World No. 5 will be his first against a Top 10 player. Young: "It's awesome. This will be my new favorite tournament. I've been waiting for this first win for quite some time. After I won my first junior Slam in Australia people expected a lot from me.
