Ankle - Out for Jan. 29 game vs. New Jersey.
Q-able for Jan. 31 vs. San Antonio
Small forward Andrei Kirilenko was wearing a protective boot on his right
foot Saturday, though he said the swelling in his sprained right ankle had
subsided. The injury is still sore, however, and Kirilenko is expected to
miss at least Monday's game with New Jersey, and perhaps Wednesday's matchup
with San Antonio. "It's not as bad as last year," Kirilenko said of an injury
that cost him seven games in November 2005.
The frustration continues for his Fantasy owners. The ankle sprain will make
him a risky start for the upcoming scoring period and we suggest going with a
healthier alternative if at all possible. When healthy, he's been little more
than a No. 3 Fantasy guard.
