http://www.nba.com/jazz/news/karl-malone-work-utah-jazz-big-men Karl Malone to Work with Utah Jazz Big Men SALT LAKE CITY (May 29, 2013) – Utah Jazz Head Coach, Tyrone Corbin, has announced that Karl Malone (Jazz 1985-2003) will work with Jazz forward Derrick Favors and center Enes Kanter, as well as others on an as-needed basis. No structured schedule has been set for Malone’s participation. “It is great to have Karl as a resource for the team,” said Corbin. “He is one of the most talented big men to have ever played this game.” A 2010 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, Malone was a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player (1997, ’99) and a 14-time NBA All-Star for the Utah Jazz from 1985-2003. He was named as one of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players in 1996 and ranks second on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 36,928 points. Malone was selected as an All-NBA first team forward from 1989-99 and was named to the league’s All-Defensive first team from 1997-99.
