[問題] try球的中文意思是？
我在英文課本看到解釋"pitcher"的文字
其中一段如下：
In the game of baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws the ball
in the direction of home plate, where a hiter uses a bat to try and hit
the ball as fast as possible.
字典上找不到"try"這字用在棒球投手是何意義
棒球維基館的分類中，雖然有術語一項
卻沒有英文術語
因此想問大家，能告訴我什麼是 try球嗎？
