Cesare Prandelli: “The team reacted well and showed great spirit. We played
some good football for an hour, especially in the first half, and it’s
normal at this stage of the season for fitness levels to fall towards the
end. My return to the bench was an emotional moment after a year away.”
Walter Novellino: “We had problems down the left flank and I thought
Lamberto Zauli would give me a little bit more in that position. It didn’t
happen, but that’s more my fault than his. I effectively handed the first
half to Fiorentina and overall they deserved the win.”
