http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=587899 Fiorentina have won the race to sign Stevan Jovetic, nicknamed the 「new Dejan Savicevic」, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport. The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the hottest young prospects in Europe, and has had a host of big clubs including Real Madrid and Manchester United interested in him. The Montenegrin support striker has been compared to the country's greatest ever player Dejan Savicevic, who starred of course in Serie A with AC Milan in the 1990s. The Gazzetta says that the Viola have secured the player's signature for next season following successful negotiations prior to Thursday's UEFA Cup win over Rosenborg in Norway. Jovetic was in Florence for three days to discuss a contract, and he returned to his club side FK Partizan satisfied with the terms. The hitman is the top scorer in the Serbian League this season with 11 goals in 17 games.
