Goal.com http://tinyurl.com/yzeftk3 Doni – 6: Did well to come off his line to prevent Asamoah the chance to score Udinese’s second goal, just moments after the first. Produced a great stop to deny Basta midway through the second half, and a world class save on Isla after 75 minutes. Not at fault for either of the goals. Motta – 6: His foul on Sanchez resulted in the free kick that led to the opening goal. He bounced back though, by almost scoring one of his own from only a few yards out, and he sent in the ball that led to the De Rossi goal. Forced off because of injury with 20 minutes to play. Mexes – 6.5: Had a role in giving away the foul that led to the opening goal, however he played an integral part in completely nullifying the impact of Di Natale. Juan – 6: His header off the Motta cross forced Handanovic into making a great save, allowing De Rossi to tap in the equaliser. However his poor marking led to Floro Flores’ second goal. Cassetti – 5: His failure to mark Floro Flores, allowed the hitman to head home the opener, and he struggled against Basta, before unsurprisingly being replaced by Andreolli just after the hour mark. De Rossi – 7: Led from the front by getting his side back on level terms with a simple tap in from close range, and was the rock of the entire side in this match. Brighi – 6.5: Had a chance to open the scoring on 14 minutes, after pouncing on a cut back by Vucinic, and looked confident alongside his captain all night. Taddei – 4.5: Saw red for an unknown reason just three minutes into the second half. Had minimal impact prior to receiving his marching orders. Perrotta – 6: Solid performance as always by the World Champion, who failed to do anything of any major significance, but held his own in midfield. Guberti – 6.5: A little sluggish in the opening stages, but worked his way into the match as time went on. By the end he looked to be one of the most threatening and creative players for his side. Vucinic – 5.5: Tried very hard, but his goal scoring slump continued, as he struggled against Zapata and Coda. Missed a massive opportunity from all of five yards in the closing stages; however his effort sailed over the bar. Substitutes Andreolli – 6: Replaced the out of sorts Cassetti, and immediately Roma looked more composed on the left. Cicinho – 5.5: Lacking match fitness, but held his own in the final 20 minutes of play.
