Cassetti: 7.5 - He always offered an option on the overlap and made several excellent challenges on Eto'o to keep him generally quiet. Burdisso: 7.5 - Very composed at the back against his parent club, timing his challenges superbly, while his header led to the opening goal. Juan: 7.5 - He read the game excellently to make some crucial interceptions and tried to keep a tight leash on Milito. Riise: 7 - Offered Maicon a little too much space to run into but was a real threat on the counter-attack. Less adventurous in the second half as Roma looked to protect their lead. De Rossi: 8.5 - He reacted quickest to prod the ball home and give Roma the lead in the first half. Combative and physical in the middle of the pitch - he rarely gave Inter any time on the ball before being taken off injured. Pizarro: 7.5 - Expertly made space for himself so it seemed like he always had time to find a pass in a congested midfield, but he nearly played his side into trouble a couple of times in the second half. Perrotta: 7 - Bullish performance, getting into the faces of the Inter midfielders and ensuring they were riled up. Covered well defensively when Cassetti went forward. Menez: 6.5 - Worked very hard behind the front two and his pace was a problem for Zanetti until he was taken off with 25 minutes to go. Toni: 8 - Torn shirt was a testament to how Samuel was having to physically manhandle him but he won the battle, scoring the winner with a superb finish into the corner. Used every ounce of energy he had. Vucinic: 7 - Drifted from one flank to the other as he played slightly off Toni, forcing a good save from Julio Cesar in the first half and frequently had the beating of Maicon and Zanetti. Substitutes: Taddei: 6.5 - His wayward shot found its way through to Toni for the second goal, and his pace was a threat on the counter in the final minutes. Brighi: 6 - Replaced the injured De Rossi with 15 minutes to go and almost won a penalty in injury time.
