He's really something special as far as his makeup and his personality. It's been well-documented what I thought of Nick from day one. I'm probably guilty of being tougher on Nick than anybody. In fact, I remember he hit a home run against Cleveland and I happened to be in San Diego that weekend visiting my daughter. It wasn't televised and I saw him doing this ridiculous dance in the dugout. When I got back into town, I immediately yanked him aside and told him that as a rookie, he didn't need to be on ESPN after hitting a home run. I think that shocked him a bit."
