今年選20輪.首次搬到七月All-Star Week又Eastern Time Sunday開始 (July 11-13) 和平常不同. 今年還多去年只選五輪本應選上卻留下來的千餘人,不過似乎對前段選秀沒什麼影響. 對中段來講球隊打電話去時只會出比以前更低的bonuses. 對選秀而言多了MLB Draft League (May 24 - mid-August https://atmlb.com/3gESNE9 https://bit.ly/3q7En2x) , the Appalachian League (小聯盟精簡的產物, https://atmlb.com/3zF8vXe) , MLB Draft Combine (June 21-28, https://atmlb.com/3cSDo0R https://atmlb.com/3cQM0oo) 但目前作用不大. 2020 Cape Cod League沒打也沒Collegiate National Team, College player跟HS一樣充滿不確定性. Other notable guys: 17.Harry Ford HS R/R C Rare fleet-footed Catcher(6.42-second 60-yard dash). Great bat speed, above average power, 55-60 arm. Scott Boras representation. 18.Will Bednar RHP Late riser. 92-96 mph fastball, plus slider. Draft-eligible sophomore. College World Series丟的好,綠帽從來不選這類型的,不過有助於推其他人往下. 19.Gunnar Hoglund RHP & 24.Jaden Hill RHP Tommy John. 綠帽從來不選這類型的 22.Joe Mack HS L/R C Plus arm, above average power, solid defender. Season begun so late (May 14) as a N.Y. high schooler. 23.Benny Montgomery HS R/R OF One of the toolsiest player in the draft. Plus raw power, 70+ run. With a hitch in swing. Big-framed. Old (18.8). 中段開始有興趣,很難到第一輪尾 26.Ethan Wilson L/L OF Good plate discipline(33BB/21SO), 55 power, fringy run, fringy arm. No plus tools. Corner OF type. Small school(South Alabama, Travis Swaggerty).
