They have a rule that 3 balls have to pass the headstring or be pocketed. At
4-3 my opponent makes an illegal break and happens to run out. The ref
doesn't notice. After the rack I said, that was an illegal break, and they
had been replaying it on TV saying the break was illegal. They gave her the
game anyway and said that was the final ruling. A similar situation happened
earlier in the day and the score was restored and the rack was replayed. For
me they kept the score as is and basically said, "sucks for you"..
The lesson is that I should have refused to continue playing until they
restored the score. Yes, she was Taiwanese.
