Vieri faces surgery threat

Christian Vieri's injury nightmare has taken a new unwanted twist
with reports suggesting he may need more knee surgery.
據報導，Vieri又傷了，可能需要再動一次膝蓋手術．．．．．．．．．．．．．．
The Azzurri striker has yet to make his debut for Atalanta
since his arrival in August, as he's been attempting to fully recover
from the knee injury which ended his brief spell at Monaco in March
and ruled him out of Germany 2006.
他八月轉會到 Atalanta之後沒有為球隊出賽過，
還在嘗試從三月在 Monaco受的膝傷中復原。
Stories on Friday claim that Vieri will be forced to undergo another
operation in order to solve some cartilage problems in his left knee.
週五有報導宣稱 Vieri將被迫再次進行手術以解決左膝的軟骨問題。
If the whispers were to be confirmed then the veteran could be sidelined
for at least the next three months.
如果傳言屬實，Vieri將至少三個月不能出賽。
The former Juventus man agreed to a minimum wage contract worth
just over ￡1,000 a month with Atalanta, where he had appeared
during the 1995-96 season, after cancelling the contract
he had previously signed with Sampdoria in July.
Rumours in the summer suggested the much-travelled striker
was considering retiring from the game completely,
as he seemed keen on a TV career, before accepting a Bergamo switch.
