The 27-year-old's future was in some doubt after spending the last two campaigns on loan at Benfica. However, Ranieri yesterday revealed that he wants the Italian international at his disposal during 2007-08 – much to the delight of the ‘Romario del Salento’. “If they want to keep me then I will happily accept,” noted the pint-sized striker. “I am a bit tired of travelling back and forth.
