The transfer is now scheduled to go through on Wednesday morning with the
player's agent Willie McKay confident it will be finalised without any hitches
"The move is imminent," McKay told skysports.com.
"He has agreed terms and passed his medical. It's a five-year deal."
McKay went on to reveal that Barton snubbed the chance of talks with The
Hammers such was the impression made on him by his prospective new boss.
"Joey was due to go to West Ham to have talks, but after meeting Big Sam he
wanted to go to Newcastle," he added.
"Having felt the warmth from Big Sam and the fans outside the stadium, Joey
decided that Newcastle was the only place for him."
Barton本來要跟槌子談，但是當他跟Big Sam見面過後他就想來Newcastle了。
他感受到來自於Big Sam的溫暖(XD)，而看到球場外的球迷們，
他就決定Newcastle是他要去的地方。
(搞不好薪資也是問題orz)
