A line judge doing the USopen semi finals would have a lot of experience and
a long history of consistency and accuracy. They dont just put anyone on
there. Linesman are graded at every tournament and their grades determine
which tournaments they are accepted to and how long they last at the
tournament.
在美網準決賽當線審需要有非常豐富的經驗外還要有長期穩定並準確的判斷紀錄，
不是隨便找個人就叫上去當線審的，在每個賽事中，線審都會被評分，
並以此評分來決定參與的賽事等級，還有線審能夠在參與的賽事中續審多久。
For example, I myself was a linesman at professional events for 5 years and
in that period I did 3 Australian Opens and 1 USopen. I was lucky to get to
do a USopen and at the grand slams I only did a handful of matches on centre
court and never did a womens or mens match deep in the second week of the
slams, instead being relagated to juniors, mixed doubles etc.
舉例來說，自己曾擔任職業賽線審五年，參與過3次澳網和1次美網。我很幸運能夠
參與美網，雖然只參與了一些中央球場的比賽，但我不曾擔任過大滿貫第二個禮拜
男女賽事的線審，頂多只被派去審青少年、混雙的比賽。
To get to that point you have to have a wealth of experience and a great
history of accuracy. That linesman would have been one of the best. A lesser
linesman would not have made the call. it is the linesmans judge to make the
call at all times, regardless of the situation
要能在第二個禮拜擔任男女賽事的線審，必須要有極豐富的經驗和非常好的準確
判斷紀錄，所以這位線審想必一定是其中的上乘之選。反觀經驗較少的線審是不
會做出這個(腳誤)判決的。這個判決是線審的當下的判斷，不受任何現場情況影響。

非戰文，沒有要補刀的意思，只是要大家了解線審這職位也是不好當。
任何人都不應該因為做到分內工作而受到不對的對待。
