[外電] Malone honored by Outdoor Life magazine
Retired Jazz power forward Karl Malone was recently honored by Outdoor Life
magazine as one of "25 men and women who have changed the face of hunting and
fishing."
According to the publication, "Since his retirement from professional
basketball in 2004, Malone has become even more deeply involved in the
outdoors. He has invested his time, energy and resources in wildlife
conservation programs around the continent.
"His contributions have provided access for hunters; habitat for bighorn
sheep, mule deer and elk; and outdoor gear for underprivileged kids.
In addition, Malone founded the Hunts for Heroes program, which sponsors
all-expenses-paid hunts for soldiers, firefighters and policemen."
