Lobont to quit Fiorentina
Fiorentina reserve ‘keeper Bogdan Lobont is on the verge of completing a
move to Dinamo Bucharest.
“There are a few bureaucratic details to iron out, but the transfer is
already well defined,” said agent Andrea Pretti.
The shot-stopper arrived in Florence a year ago from Ajax after Sebastien
Frey underwent knee ligament surgery.
Despite impressing at times last term, the Viola handed the first choice
gloves back to Frey after he fully recovered from his setback.
“He wants to play football again and feels sacrificed by being the second
choice in Florence,” added Pretti.
“He leaves this city with regret because he found a club with great fans and
an important environment to display his skills.”
The Romanian international, born in 1978, has played his football in
Bucharest before with Rapid between 1997 and 2000, before moving to Dinamo
for two seasons.
