suit up有兩個意思
字面上的意思, suit up指的是穿上制服/隊服/正式服裝, 引申為上場
這則rumor的來源, 是HOOPSWORLD的這則報導

這則報導則是說
Rose may suit up for Game 3, which will be played this Friday. Suiting up
doesn’t guarantee that Rose will play, but being in uniform on the bench
rather than donning a suit would be a step forward for the 24-year-old
所以, 這邊的suit up, 只是指Rose會在G3穿上球衣在場邊看球而已
並不是說他會上場
不過這則rumor也說, 如果有緊急情況, Rose還是有可能上場
BUT....
有沒有機會上場, 看賽前的13人名單就知道了
不在名單上, 再怎麼緊急也不可能上場的....
所以Rose上不上, 一定是賽前就有想法, 不可能像這則報導說的
If Rose suits up in Game 3, he would be available in case of emergency
