UT Expected to Pac-10 Tuesday; Ags possible sacrificial lamb for SEC
Even so, the time frame would place Scott in Texas prior to The University’s
Board of Regents meeting set for 11 a.m., Tuesday. Our source, who previously
told Inside Texas that the Longhorns' affiliation with the Pac-10 was imminent
said Saturday he expects the Board of Regents to approve Texas’ move toward
the Pac-10. Texas Tech’s Board of Regents has also called a special session
for Tuesday.
Texas Men’s Athletic Director DeLoss Dodds said, in a statement released
Friday, said it was “both premature and inappropriate on what our UT System
Regents will discuss” at Tuesday’s session. Dodds concluded that Texas would
utilize “additional time to continue our work and evaluate our options.”

Bill Power; the two joined Mack Brown in Dodd’s Disch-Falk Field suite

Maybe going seperate with Texas is the only chance they could become a football
