[閒聊] Happy Birthday to Leandro Barbosa!!!
突然想到11/28是Leandro的生日
雖然現在已經是美國時間29號早上了
不過還是來祝他生日快樂吧
Birthday Blues
The 25th birthday is usually an occasion that merits a decent celebration.
Unfortunately for Suns guard Leandro Barbosa, a poor shooting performance and
a Suns loss blew out his birthday candles a little prematurely on Wednesday.
The “Brazilian Blur” shot 2-of-11 from the floor, 0-3 from downtown and
committed three turnovers in the Suns’ 100-94 home loss to the Rockets. The
usually consistent Barbosa just had one of those off nights.
But worse than the cold night from the field was the awareness of his
unfulfilled birthday wish: the company of his family.
“It would have been nice to have my whole family here so we could enjoy each
other’s company,” Barbosa said. “But they all called me, so I am happy.”
Although he missed the presence of his family, it wasn’t all melancholy for
the fifth-year Sun, who received lots of love and presents from his
girlfriend.
“She gave me some jeans, a watch and some shirts,” Barbosa boasted
gleefully.
Best of all, while some begin to ponder losing their youth at around 25,
Barbosa is keeping it all perspective.
“I’m not feeling any older,” he said. “Age is just a number.”
