[問題]柔軟度與跑步

大家好! 今天在NPR的Fresh Air節目裡面,聽到一個有趣的議題, 這個討論其實還顛覆了我個人的一些觀念, 所以,我想要在這邊跟各位先進請教一下,是否大家曾經聽過類似的觀念: 以下是原文的出處: Stand Up, Walk Around, Even Just For '20 Minutes' http://tinyurl.com/7ok7dsj 我把個人覺得有趣的部份特別挑出來: "...because there are some studies that clearly indicate that being very flexible is not good for athletics, and that's especially true if you're a runner. If you have really flexible hamstring muscles, you tend to be less efficient as a runner. You actually use more oxygen. So when I became a little less flexible, as I grew older, I actually became a faster runner, which was interesting. And that's because a really tight muscle is like a very well-stretched piece of elastic, and it returns energy extremely efficiently. So if you have tight hamstring muscles, you can be a very fast runner.
