Every year, Pop sits out a game or two of the preseason to throw his
assistant coaches into the fire and see what they can do. On spurstalk,
we refer to this as part of his preseason and early-regular-season "mad
scientist" routine of experimenting with schemes and lineups and assistant
coaches, which he plays out every season until about December. Usually,
he will also get intentionally ejected from at least one game early in
the season for the same reason.
所以到 12 月前，popo 都會一直做 "實驗"，12 月後才會比較 "認真" 吧?
